NOI Techpark, thanks to the project and together with a group of local stakeholder (e.g. HDS, LVH, Free University of Bolzano, Athesia, IDM, SAIM, etc.), aims to define the architecture of a Gamification Module that uses the beacons and that can be used in order to better promote the South Tyrolean territory. Moreover within this activity will be developed a firt prototype of the Gamification module that can be used by the local stakeholder involved in their applications or as reference implementation.

Concerninng this application the 8th of March 2019 it has been organized at NOI Teckpark a design thinking Workshop together with all the involved stakeholder. The goal of this workshop was the definition of the concept of a gamification module that uses the beacon in order improve the experience of the users.

The results of this workshop has been presented to the community in a dedicated meeting organized at the NOI Techpark the 19th of april 2019. The slides presented during the meeting are available at the following link:

As final result of the analysis phase it has been elaborated a document that includes:

Finally, within the Beacon south Tyrol project, a Gamification Android App named "Beacon South Tyrol Adventure" and a Gamification Android Module that can be easily integrated in other applications (e.g. Südtirol Mobile Guide) has been developed. The App and the module has been developed on top of the requirements and the use cases identified during the analysisn and the design thinking process.
